Silly Songs and Manic Monologues
“The best thing to come out of Shropshire in ages” Edinburgh Festival 4-star review After 25 years in the business, ‘Three Men in a Bow Tie’ must be Shropshire’s favourite entertainers. Their classic comedy show of ridiculous songs and crazy monologues has now entertained over 55 thousand people … from Scotland to the South Coast … in countless theatres, 400 village halls, numerous festivals, half a dozen tents, three cowsheds and a rather posh opera house. Now they are back on home territory for their anniversary celebrations. If you’ve not seen them before … now’s your chance. If you have, you’ll know what you are in for! The trio consists of actor-instrumentalist, songbird and storyteller Sally Tonge, BBC broadcaster and writer Chris Eldon Lee, and satirist, songwriter and Shropshire dairy farmer Martin “Monologue” Jones; plus the amazing Freda the Female Farmer, agriculture’s answer to Dame Edna Everage. WARNING : Expect jokes about Telford.
